Description

The Sanwa MG500 Insulation Resistance Tester features a sophisticated design and a comfortable feel, allowing you to measure insulation resistance more safely. Widely used to measure the insulation resistance of generators, motors, power transformers, wiring, appliances, and other electrical equipment. The large 4,200-character LCD screen features both digital and analog bar graph displays, along with LED backlighting, ensuring clear readings even in low-light conditions and enhancing readability.

■ A fast analog bar display, similar to an analog meter, is suitable for displaying rapidly changing or unstable signals

■ A 3-range switchable function for applying DC 125 V, 250 V, or 500 V when measuring insulation resistance

■ The insulation resistance measurement function automatically detects whether a wire is live (minimum 30 V)

■ Automatically locks the final measurement value upon completion of the test

■ High-voltage indicator and audible buzzer

■ Automatic discharge function: any residual charge stored in the circuit is automatically discharged upon test completion

■ AC/DC 600V voltage measurement with automatic AC/DC detection

■ 4000/40 Ω resistance measurement range with continuity buzzer and alarm linkage

■ Universal, integrated housing design

■ Sampling rate: Approximately 2 times per second

■ Safety standard: IEC 61010 CAT III 600 V
